Vanderbilt Football Update 10/22

Running back Zac Stacy was back at practice Wednesday, but center Bradley Vierling was out.  Both are expected to play against Carolina on Saturday.

Kick returner Warren Norman hopes to take advantage of the Gamecocks’ poorly-rated coverage teams.

Coach Bobby Johnson said this week that Coach Spurrier has been an innovator of the college game.
Don’t expect South Carolina to overlook the fact that the Commodores have won two in a row against them.  “They outplayed us the last two years,” Coach Spurrier said.  “They’ve outplayed us, outcoached us, outhit us.”

Defensive end Steve Stone might finally be back from his ailment.

Redshirt freshman Ryan Seymour might have to fill a vacancy on Vandy’s offensive line this week.
